MEET OUR TEAM

An experienced Dentist for over 14 years, Dr. Salaman Iqbal holds degrees from world renowned Kings College London and University of Central Lancashire. He is a well known local dentist and opened Silsoe Dental Clinic in 2021. Dr Salaman’s experience and commitment to Dentistry and his patients is admirable.

His vision was to build a private state of the art practice with a team who provide a premium service, accessible for all. For Dr. Salaman, the aspiration to become the dental practice of choice for the local community has now come to life.

Dr Rahat Khan is our Senior Associate Dentist.

​He  has degrees from the University of Exeter as well as studied extensively at the Peninsula college of Medicine and Dentistry.

​

He has a variety of skills and can tackle all aspects of dentistry. His main interest is Dental Implants and Oral Surgery. Dr Rahat, also regularly works with nervous patients and is a keen footballer in his spare time.

We're delighted to have someone with Dr Rahat's expertise to Silsoe and the local community.

Dr Janayd has a MDDr from the Charles University of Prague since 2018 as well as a Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry which he acquired recently in 2022 from the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

​

He has a variety of skills and can tackle all aspects of dentistry. His main interest is Advanced Restorative Dentistry such as tooth wear cases, crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers and smile make overs. Dr Janayd, also regularly works on Composite bonding and is no stranger to orthodontic treatment, he also enjoys Invisalign treatment and seeing results for his patients and has many successful cases.

 Dr Ayesha Malik completed her BDS at Kings
College in 2021. Following this she has completed
a PGDip in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry
due to her keen interest in this field.

Ayesha has a keen eye for aesthetic work and has
completed an Invisalign course as well as various
bonding courses, allowing her to provide smile
makeovers for her patients. She also regularly
tackles more complex and challenging cases as
part of a full mouth rehab to fulfil both the aesthetic
and functional needs of her patients; ranging from
simple fillings to crowns, veneers and bridges.

Dr. Harriet Shah is our specialist orthodontist, with qualifications from King's College London in 2012. 

After obtaining joint faculty membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, her specialist orthodontic training was completed at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Kettering General Hospital. Harriet was awarded her Masters in Clinical Dentistry in 2019.

Harriet is a registered Specialist Orthodontist, providing a range of treatments and is trained to place mini-implants and is a specialist Invisalign provider and is currently working between practices in, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Chelsea.

Dr Agnes Holler  joins Silsoe Dental Clinic as our Oral Surgery Specialist, enhancing our advanced surgical capabilities. With experience across Hungary, Cyprus, and the UK, she brings extensive expertise in oral surgery and general dentistry. Agnes holds a Dento-Alveolar Surgeon qualification from the University of Szeged (2012) and is a member of leading professional associations including BAOS and ADI.

Her appointment allows us to offer a broader range of specialist oral surgery treatments in-house, including complex extractions and minor oral surgical procedures. We are pleased to accept referrals from local dental practices, ensuring patients receive expert care in a trusted, professional setting.

An experienced Dental Hygienist, George has worked with Dr Salaman for over 6 years and is a qualified Hygienist and Dental therapist and holds a Bachelors Degree from Cardiff University.

Silsoe Dental Clinic offers direct Hygienist access for all patients which means you can see the Hygienist without seeing a Dentist first. As a Dental Hygiene Therapist, George is also qualified to do dental fillings & extractions as well as cleaning and offering periodontal advice.

George is wonderful with young children and is qualified to treat and examine the youngest of patients.

Raj, as he likes to be called, graduated from the Royal London Hospital in 2001 and has completed a Masters degree in Endodontic Practice at Queens Mary University of London. 

​

He has developed a great passion for endodontic treatment and is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, regularly keeping up to date with developments in endodontics and is currently working on publishing his research in scientific journals.

​

Dr Raj also dedicates part of his time to training young dentists in general practice.

Seanna  brings a refined blend of clinical excellence and aesthetic artistry to Silsoe Dental Clinic. As a highly qualified dental hygienist and facial aesthetics practitioner, Seanna delivers exceptional, bespoke treatments designed to elevate both smile and skin with precision and elegance.

Her meticulous approach and advanced training ensure the highest standards of care, while her focus on subtle, natural enhancements reflects a true understanding of facial harmony. Dedicated to continuous professional development, Seanna offers patients detailed consultations with reassurance and a medically led experience that inspires confidence and radiance.

Julie our started as our Receptionist and was recently promoted to our Practice Manager. She brings with her a wealth of experience as a former lab technician and has worked in Dental industry ever since leaving school.

Julie loves delivering and excellent patient experience,

and always endeavours to help patients with their questions, appointment, billing requests and has an eye for detail. She interacts with people with kindness and equality and always does so with a cheerful smile that enhances our welcome experience. 

​

Julie lives locally and also supports her husband who runs his own dental lab business. ​​

Ellie is a qualified Dental nurse and has been a Nursing for 4 years, and qualified in 2022.

She is is looking to advance her skills and gain experience in Implants. She currently particpating in a Sedation course and eager to learn with our expert Team of Dental Practitioners. Ellie enjoys nursing and mainly works with Dr Ayesha and Specialist Orthodontist Dr Harriet Shah. ​​

Annie- Rose enjoys welcoming our new patients and putting some of our most nervous patients at ease before their treatment. Annie-Rose started with us as a Receptionist and decided to progress her career by taking up dental nursing.

We are proud to support her on advancing her career in dentistry & she is currently enjoying learning with on-the job training alongside our hygienists.

Humyra is our Dental Nurse and has worked previously with Dr Janayd Shan at a Practice in Milton Keynes. Humyra is committed to Dental nursing and enjoys learning about patient care from our expert team.

We are delighted to support Humyra on her journey with us and are committed to providing her support and practical experience at Silsoe Dental Clinic. 

Claire has been a Dental Nurse for the last 20 years. She is local to Silsoe and neighbouring Bedfordshire villages and has a good knowledge in general dentistry,  infection control and clinical governance.

She loves supporting patients of all ages, making their experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

​

Claire is always keen to progress and further her career in dentistry and has worked with Dr. Salaman Iqbal for the past 6 years. 

Jade is a committed Dental Nurse with extensive experience in all aspects of chairside assistance and patient care. She is passionate about supporting patients ensuring they feel at ease while receiving high-quality care. Jade takes pride in working collaboratively with the clinical team to help patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Her role involves providing essential support to dentists, maintaining excellent standards of infection control, and delivering a calm and reassuring presence in the surgery. Dedicated and professional, Jade brings both skill and compassion to her work at Silsoe Dental Clinic.

Isabella studied Health & Social Care at college and has previous experience working in the hospitality sector, giving her a warm, patient-friendly and customer-focused approach. She joins Silsoe Dental Clinic to begin her career in dental nursing and has quickly become a valued member of the team.

Bella has always been interested in pursuing a career in dentistry and decided that dental nursing was the perfect path for her. She is excited to begin her studies towards the Level 3 Dental Nursing Diploma and is enthusiastic about developing her skills and knowledge within the profession. Bella is a motivated, confident and caring member of our team who is committed to providing excellent support to both patients and colleagues.
